A maze of 5 km of vaulted cellars, some of which date back as far as the 13th century, holds millions of bottles of wine. A magic, impressive, timeless and special place, which illustrates the union between wines and culture. A unique visit!

On your arrival, you will be greeted and welcomed by one of our wine advisers ( sommeliers ), who will hand a glass to each participant and guide you through the tasting, discovering some of Burgundy's great wines. We will then have the pleasure to present the Caves Patriarche Père & Fils to you and to guide you through the maze of cellars housing several millions of bottles. This is the start of your journey through the world of great Burgundy wines.

Visitors will enter a fascinating world. The Patriarche vaults, tunnelling under the Visitandines Convent , are amongst the biggest in all Burgundy. They consist of a single network of tunnels lying beneath the city of Beaune and dating from the XIII to the XVIII centuries. Visitors enter the vaults from a remarkable XVII Century chapel. Millions of bottles of wine are happily resting in this subterranean world.
