3rd International Conference on Food Digestion

Welcome to the 3rd ICFD organised by COST Action FA 1005 INFOGEST .

Building further upon the success of the two previous editions (Cesena, 2011 – Madrid, 2012), the 3rd ICFD will create a new opportunity to foster exchanges between specialists in the field of Food Digestion.

This international conference will take place in Wageningsche Berg Hotel situated in a rural surrounding (1km) outside the city centre of Wageningen close to Arboretum Belmonte with a beautiful nature view, in the middle of the woods.

Topics :

  • Characterization of raw materials and processed food matrices for optimized nutrient bioavailability
     - Identification of bioactive compounds - Stability during processing - Characterisation of food structures
  • In vitro , in vivo and in silico models of mammalian gastrointestinal digestion
     - Application of digestion models to food - Comparison in vitro/in vivo - Identification of digestion products
  • Evaluation of the healthy effects
     - Immunomodulatory properties of food  - Regulation of appetite and satiety - Effect of food on gut microbiota

  • Poster board size : 1.20 m x 1.20 m  
    Recommanded size for poster : 80 x 120 cm (A0 format in vertical orientation )
